| I've seen this problem several times with customers' cars. The passenger filter is breathing more than the driver's filter which is allowing more air to enter the passenger side. Since the MAS your ECU is reading from is on the driver's side and there is less air entering that side, even though the ECU doubles the injection because you are only measuring half the intake air, the MAS is seeing less than half of the total air and this will cause a lean condition, which will melt pistons and spit dipsticks out. You likely have a rough idle too as one or more of your cylinders are toast. I've seen this happen with the traditional dual-pop intake when a filter gets a little wet and also when turbocharger wastegates aren't calibrated to each other. The only way to accurately meter air in a dual-intake is with the DOOLZ. Granted, your problem could have been caused by a number of different issues; clogged fuel filter, bad fuel pressure regulator, dying fuel pump, etc etc.. You need someome to go through the whole fuel system and determine why your problem occurred. I'm sorry to hear of your problem - that is not a good sign and unfortunately the fix to it is going to be a rebuilt engine. :-/ We're (Z1) not too far away from you - you might want to consider bringing it to us..
